Get out and shoot! Join photographer Jim Rohan for a hands-on, lo-fi photography workshop on the streets of Somerville.
Bring your favorite lo-fi camera (Holga, Diana, crappy film point&shoot, etc) and your choice of color or black&white film.*
We'll learn a bit about "toy camera" aesthetics and see a selection of Jim’s work, before setting out on a shooting adventure. On the street, Jim will share plenty of tips for getting the best photos from the humblest of image-making equipment.
This event is free, but registration is required (limited to 12 participants).
T-accessible meeting location will be sent upon registration.
*If the day is bright and sunny, choose a lower ISO film -- 50, 100, or 160. On cloudy days, a film with 400 or 800 ISO will generally yield better results.
